Logan Utah Temple at Dusk
The Logan Utah Temple, a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Logan, Utah, is a beautiful building to behold. I happened to catch it just as the sun had gone down, which made for some very nice lighting. The Logan Utah Temple was built over a seven year period (1877-1884) by volunteers! That’s pretty amazing.
Iris
In honor of spring, a nice iris in a Manitou Springs, Colorado garden. What a fun town.
Air Force Academy Chapel
A uniquely beautiful and inspirational building, the Air Force Academy chapel directs our minds and hearts upward toward God. We had the opportunity to visit the Air Force Academy during a family reunion a couple of years ago and took the walk from the visitor center to the chapel. It was well worth it.
Your Carriage, M’Lady
Another fine specimine from the Frontier Homestead State Park. Those springs have seen more comfortable days.
Pioneer House
This is the pioneer house in the Frontier Homestead State Park in Cedar City, UT. They were remodeling at the time, and, as you can see, the back part of the house is missing. That made for a creepy look that I couldn’t resist.
I’m not dead! I’m getting better!
Snow Tank Engine
This is an HDR/sepia version of my photo of the engine of a snow tank. Snow tanks were used in the 1940s to carry passengers and feed for cattle through the snow in the Cedar Valley, Utah area.
